DIC Install

How do I find out if my car is prewired for a DIC? I think I need to be looking in the hole in the dash on the drivers side (the one covered by the cover behind the door) but I am not sure where in there I need to be looking, or for what kind of connector.

Also, how exactly does the DIC go into the dash? On the left side of the wheel in the cubby hole, correct? Does it clip in or what?

I am asuming a 94-96 GP... On my 96 take out the Headlight switch and look straight back... You can also take the little acess panel off on the side too.. There will be 3 plugs taped together with foam around them too.. 2 plugs for the HUD and 1 plug for the DIC.. The DIC is larger than the HUD ones.. I know this because i just added HUD and DIC to the car and I am loving the HUD.. i barely look at the gauges now.. I just installed the DIC like 30 mins ago so not much use on it yet...

So far that i know the 94-96 is prewired for most or all options if not used..
