My Dad whooped my ass if stepped over the line. I wasnt abused, just taught the meaning of dicipline. He worked the crap out of me through me early years and never let me whimp out of a situation.

I thank God that I had that gristled old man to keep me on track. I am the man I am today because of a Dad that new the value of good old fashion parenting. If that was my Kid, Id whoop his ass untill my arm fell off, comfiscate and sell all his games, cut him off completely from whatever hoodlum friends that hes made and then Id work him into dust untill he paid back every cent of damage he caused.

Thats the way Granpa handled it, Thats the way Dad handled it ...and it worked out pretty damn good so far.

Nowadays, pansy assed, sissy boy, law makers with no business of thier own call this child abuse while thier own kids end up on drugs and thier daughters end up internet sluts.

Do this, Talk to that Kid's parents. Tell them to come up with money for your damaged car and an appology from the brat or you'll sue them into the ground. I bet youll get some cooperation from them then.
    Um.. yeah..

I don't think I could have said it better myself, lol. You bet my dad used my belt on me. That thing had buffalo nickels on it too, so I avoided that thing at all costs! Just because the kid is 12 doesn't make what he did to your car any less wrong. I completely agree with Driver-10's comment. Back to the belt thing though, my two cousins that didn't get the same kind of discipline I did growing up turned out way different then I did. They got anything they wanted on a silver platter while growing up since my uncle owned his own construction business. Well, both of my cousins (him and HER) have done prison time for drug related crimes now. Me? I did 2 hours in city jail for driving on a suspended license. Some see discipline as a crime now, I see it as keeping your kids in line because you care about them.

and any extra costs such as rental cars, etc, etc. Don't let them get away with it.

I let some dirtbags walk away from an accident without even cussing at them. I lost a car, got banged up (thank god I could walk away, I didn't have hospital insurance, and my head made a hole in the windshield, even with a seat belt) and got stuck with a tow bill. Never again.

of course they'll turn it around on you if you let them, this is America. Get a lawyer right now, you are about to get hosed if you don't.

you should sue for the price of the car, and all your legal fees. You have a pretty solid case.

Well the kid is only 12.Apparently they are talkin like they are gonna sue me,because he got hurt when he wrecked it.So I have a lawyer I go through for traffics accidents(ambulance chaser) and see what he thinks. What a nightmare! I just do not want this to be a long drawed out thing,I have a new baby coming in less than a week, and I AM THE ONLY ONE WORKING RIGHT NOW! OK,I NEED TO GO CRY NOW!And think after 2 yrs when I finally decide to register as a member,........I am not going down like a punk!

Wow man, that really sucks. I find it hard to believe that all you can do is press charges. I would consider talking to a lawyer. Just because they are broke doesn't give them the right to steal someones property and get away with it with a slap on the wrists. Good luck pursuing this man!

started a topic my olds stolen and totaled

    my olds stolen and totaled

Ok,it has been a few days since i posted anything, friday morning I go out like I always do,start her up so she will be warm to take my oldest kid tom school.Come inside to grab a cereal bar,and the next thing I KNOW,I HEAR MY CAR SCREAM OFF DOWN THE ROAD!WHAT THEF.....! So i call the police, and this (kid) apparently didn't make it but 3 blocks were he wrecks it into a concrete wall by our church! about a half block away from the police station! Talk about devine intervention. So now I am stuck driving my wifes hyundai sonata 2.7v6.My point is,dont leave your car running unattended. So these people are broke as a joke, and all i can do is press charges,so I am out of a car.
Working...
