They wont work with those wrist pins. The pins on the pistons are smaller than the ones on the rods. Im not sure if it would be possible to put a larger wrist pin in those pistons or not. http://store.summitracing.com/partde...0&autoview=sku those are the ones. The price im asking is the lowest I will go. I am already taking a huge hit in the pocket book. Id rather have them sit here than sell them for nothing.

I wonder if you could have the small end bushed, in order to use them with stock pistons....2000 Grand Am GT

one question. is the trasmission is in your car a 4t65e? and what year transmission was the HD trans your selling made? i have tap shift which i beleive the 03+ GTPs had tap shift with the HD trans and that the transmissions were made slightly differently to accomendate the tap shift.

I will see if I can find out for you, and post up as soon as I do. This transmission was never installed in my car. Its a 4t65HD.Originally posted by leong6gtp View Postone question. is the trasmission is in your car a 4t65e? and what year transmission was the HD trans your selling made? i have tap shift which i beleive the 03+ GTPs had tap shift with the HD trans and that the transmissions were made slightly differently to accomendate the tap shift.Last edited by silvergtjrad; 11-14-2008, 05:49 PM.2006 AWD TBSS 12.538 @ 106.92 1.66 60' Bolt-ons only

oh ok. i have the 65e in my car. i think the 45e and 65e are very similar in size. but the 65ehd the differential is bigger on the HD so it uses shorter axels. but with either swap going to the HD you need the new axels since they are shorter to accomendate the bigger differential, is that why you have those as well? Because i read that in one post somewhere on another forum but i dont know the validity of it.Originally posted by silvergtjrad View PostThe grand am had a 4t45 in it. Sold the car back in july though.
