  • FS: 282 from GP

I have a Getrag 282 out of a 1991 GP 3.1 that I was planning on swapping into my Z34. I just decided that it would be cheaper in the long run to just have my auto redone by a buddy of mine, and now I need to get rid of the 5 speed. If anyone is interested, shoot me a PM with an offer, and we'll work something out. I just need to get it out of the garage, and plus I need the money.

has to be an 88-90 grand prix as 91 GP 5 speeds were 284 behind a DOHC. Got a price in mind?

600 or best offer, the GP it came from was a 3.1, thats one of the reasons I didnt wanna put it in the Z.

Shit, maybe I got screwed, this one come from out of state somwheres, got it through a good friend of mine, who searched all around this area for one, and it cost me $738. And I never even got it in the car, its just been sitting in the garage taking up space for two months now. I've been looking for 6 months at all the salvage yards and swap meets for one, or even a junker car with a good tranny, and couldn't find one.
