Varies state to state, but PITA to get. Still, I want one.Originally posted by robertisaar View Postsilencer = illegal?
In short, assuming no state regulations prohibit it you go to the gun shop, pick it out, pay for it, submit extensive background check paperwork including the signature of a chief law enforcement officer (sheriff, chief of police, etc) to the BATF along with $200 for a tax stamp. A few months later, you get a form saying you may take possession of it. You take this form to the gun shop and take your shiny new silencer home.Last edited by RidgeRunner; 08-24-2009, 07:45 PM.60v6's original Jon M.

Apparently so!Originally posted by SappySE107 View Postno firearms in the campgrounds. They don't spray if you don't shoot them. They were all up in our business but they didn't really do anything other than be there.
Ben didn't tell me till the next day that a skunk was actually in the screen room and even sniffed my butt a bit before deciding he might make an escape before HE got sprayed. I was busy on the PC messing with Dynomation lol.
A week prior would be best for me (and Brad) since my kids started school today.
North East, I won't be going as this already was a LONG driving weekend for me. Even with the good mileage in the Bimmer, still took almost 6 tanks of gas. IF I can have the Firebird done by the next one, then it will be even worse since I will end up trailering it, and the Excursion will see about 10mpg if I'm lucky.

Seems like all of our good meets have been at Beech Bend. 2002, 2004, and 2009. Might as well keep it up.
As far as school goes, my daughter is in year round school, although she still gets like 2 months off in the summer. She started back up on Aug 3. So school isn't the issue with me... I'd say be can plan for Beech Bend, but probably need to wait until the 2010 drag strip schedule comes out before we pick a definite date.-Brad-

Does it race it? I hope so cause otherwise your comparison is junk. This isn't a car show. We don't hand out awards for prettiest paint job.Originally posted by robertisaar View Postwhat good is a car if you can't drive it to and from meets?
that would be like my dad taking his 70 monte and trailering it wherever he went with his yukon...
nope, less than 60K miles all original, he drives it to shows...Ben

Even so. If I came alone, I wouldn't try stuffing 4-5 days of supplies and 11" slicks in it.Originally posted by robertisaar View Postdamn, didn't know you were bringing the whole brady bunch...
in that case, i'll shut up since trying to fit 4 in a 3rd gen is tough enough...
