3.4 ironhead out of 94 firebird with 78k miles on it. Car was totalled due to cosmetic damage (no mechanical damage by impact). Owner is a friend of mine, asking $1000 for it. I told him to ask $200. What do you all think he should be asking?

Not even close to $1000. Shit even with the engine, tranny and ECM it is still not worth $1000.

Local salvage yards here in Seatle are asking 600 plus core charges for a 3.4 complete, not including the ecm or the alt or the starter etc.Comment
