Ok, I was wondering what I could do since things have changed in the store a bit. So does that mean the 3400 stage1 lower would only work with the 3500 stage1 upper?

What I'm planning on doing next spring:

    - 3400 heads
    - 3400 lower intake
    - 3500 upper intake
    - 62 or 65mm TB

Other Mods, time and money permitting:
    - MRZ Crank Pulley
    - MRZ Alt Pulley
    - Cam
    - Vavle Springs
    - Headers
    - Full Performance Exhaust
    - 3400 shortblock (once my 3100 shortblock needs replacing)

Is this a good setup with those intake?

There will be a 3400 stage 2 lower, but not a stage 2 upper. The above is correct on compatibility. I am going to finish up the parts and packages so I can start explaining everything I can, but I gotta do other work at the same time.

    1) Stage 1 is gasket matched to the 3400 gasket. Stage 2 is matched to the 3500 gasket which is a lot larger opening.

    2) No, as the opening on the 3400 would be a lot smaller, thus flow would suffer as there would be a lip.

    3) It's possible to open up the 3400 I would imagine. Ask Sappy about it.

Are you talking from the 60V6 store?

    started a topic 3500 Stage2 Upper and 3400 Stage1 Lower

    3500 Stage2 Upper and 3400 Stage1 Lower

I have a few questions I was wondering if someone could answer:

    1) what is the difference between the stage 1 3500 upper and the stage 2 is?

    2) Will the stage 2 work on a stage 1 3400 lower manifold?

    3) Will there be a stage 2 3400 lower at some point in the future?

I was just wondering because I am planning on getting 3400 heads for a top swap, and I wanted to get those upper and lower manifolds to compliment the heads.

    Thanks in advance.
