matt, your gonna go through all the work of a large port 3100 into your cuty, why not just go with a 3400?

the swap is the same either way, just the bore is different, dont get how doing a large port 3100 will be easier

a few harnesses need spliced and i dont feel like doing it
plus, i'd rather have the smaller bore so the block has slightly more beef to it

same thing has to be done to the 3100... hate to tell you but its true, im telling you, EVERYTHING you do to a 3400 to make it work will have to be done to a 3100 with less power potential

the 3100 uses the same size (#22.5) multec 2 injectors instead of the multec 1 style (#19) found in your car

The block isn't the same in that the 3100 has the same size OD wall as a 3400. There is no reason to use a 3100 over a 3400 other than gas milage.

Yup no thicker walls, and large port 3100 has same issues to adapt over. .3L displacement FTW.

Linders has a 20k Rendezvous engine for $495..

They used to have a lot more low mile 3400's untill I told a few people here to buy from them...

Isn't the Rendezvous engine the one with the 54x crank trigger like the 3500? Or is that only the Equinox with that oddball 3400?
