All the Mopar users have complained of leaks. You have to use the exhaust seals on the exhaust valves because of heat resistance.Originally posted by zofo61 View PostSo has there been a turn to using the intakes on the intakes and the exhaust on exhaust for the 1991, 2.2 Cavi seals? Or is just gonna be a trial and error?Or just personal feel for the fit?.I guess no one is arguing that they arnt better that than the Mopars?

I just remember someone a few years ago saying to use the exhaust seals on all 12.. I've never had the intake seals to test fit. Maybe this time around i'll pick up some of both...

so if i used the intake seals on the intake and exhaust seals on the exhaust then there wont be a problem? i did that thinking that people were just buying the ex seals cause they were cheaper or something.

The LS6 springs don't fit over the 3500 seats, so you have to use something to protect the aluminum from the bottom of the steel spring. Now the 3500 seals don't work because you'll just have a post sticking up (3500 seals go inside the tall seat).Originally posted by zofo61 View PostThats what I am asking as well........and it may be a stupid question.......but I'm gonna anyway..........why not use 3500 valve seals....is it the sprins /seat combo that lends the need for a "creative way to seal the valve stem?

Why do you run exhaust seals on all the valves? I picked up those valve seals and got the int. exh. They are cheap enough you could pick up a few extra incase anything happens, but its doubtful that it will
