I am unsure still. I need to know how much this will affect drivability with my current stage 2 N/A cam. Just wondering how much gain I will see and how much tuning I will need. With this info I will be better able to make a decision.

not true....if you are good enough you can do it through the wheel well on some of the fwd cars. ive done it.

plus this would give the rwd guys that are using the 3400/3500 uppers on their iron headed engines a boost too. they dont have a huge selection in cams. iirc we are roller and they are not. well yet.

and even when you arent on a max effort NA build....you can get more perf out of any cam (barring ptv problems) with the higher ratio rockers. this is an easy way to get bigger lift for more power than to go to an aggressive duration to keep the ramp rate descent.

because even if the price is the same, with a cam you have to remove the motor from the car and tear down the whole top end to install it. With these, you can install it just by taking off the valve covers.

the gains that can be seen from rockers is what we are looking for. it would be less expensive to do rockers than a cam. as ben said before, there are pushrods and camshaft. then you have coolant, oil, filter, gaskets. rockers are just rockers. if you mess up the gaskets, its a $12 valvecover gasket set. nothing else. plus these are a bolt in deal. no grinding no clearancing. and they are a full roller design with a precise ratio. the gains to be seen from them are obvious.

although it is always a good idea to at least go with a thicker walled/heat treated pushrod. and prob a better spring to get the most out of anything.

not if you are already replacing the cam.

Rockers are cheaper than cam and pushrods.

it would be good to have for more lift !! i guess it all depends on the price for me anywayz. if the rockers are the same price as a cam then i dont see the point of geting a set.

Yeah I saw saying 150 for 6 so this is still in line with what we expected. Pre-orders will be done for these once we have prototypes made up and tested.

yah, i tried to get them set up for only 6 in a set that way they could be mixed and matched. but alas, not yet.

let me say this. i am in direct contact with scorp about these. they will come complete.

right now the bill is for 1.7 rockers.

since this is the first time they have looked at something this diff and big, they are actually working with me somewhat to get these done.

if all goes well, there should be good news in the near future

i recall there was some uncertianty about them getting the pedestals to go with the rockers. Ben mentioned that pricing ball parked around $150, but that may have been for just 6 rockers.
