  • 3500 UIM help

Sorry if I put this in the wrong spot but I wasn't sure where else to put it.

Anyways, I'm getting a 3500 UIM for my 01 3400. Is there a step by step install instruction page somewhere? Maybe with a list of parts for this particular swap? I went through the first 4 pages of search results to no avail. I just thought someone else might have this bookmarked already or atleast know where to find it.

Again, I tried my best, it wasn't good enough (as usual). LOL

Do a search with my username as the poster, my thread has info in it, it won't all apply to you, and you'll have less work than I had, but will answer some questions. it has bolt size /lenth, vac routhing, MAP sensor, neck clearance, etc.

Thank you gentlemen. I had already read that post but hoped there was one pertaining specifically to the 3400 to 3500 swap. Either way, I appreciate it.

Put a tag on the important threads so they are easier to locate. Perhaps someone with motivation will then use the tagged threads to create a site article.

That one will work for you, just disregard the OBDI EGR and 3400 LIM swap parts. Just need to pay attention to the FPR clearance, and vacuum sources, and the new style MAP if you want it. And a TB adapter of course.
