someone has to make a single lower intake to mount the m62 too, not leaving the bottom intake and making a top one to mount the charger too.

i ment low profile cuz the only other one ive seen was on a beretta and was like 10 inches above the hood and a cav has almost no hood clearance wen v6 swaped. my 3500 has maybe 1/2 inch between uim and hood.

thats the same thing mcgavin did with his Z26. totally not low profile and once you add a cowl or something around it your up to a half a foot.

Don't think I would call sticking out of the hood 3-4" low profile...

i found this on j-body.org. its a third gen cavalier. not sure how the adapter was made but is pretty low profile.

The J-Body Organization, j-body.org, is the worlds largest automotive enthusiast group exclusively geared towards the General Motors GM J-car platform including the Chevrolet Cavalier, Pontiac Sunfire, Pontiac Sunbird, Pontiac J 2000, Oldsmobile Firenza, Buick SkyHawk and Cadillac Cimarron.

i think i gotta be the first one to make a LIM to replace both upper and lower's. might take 2 years though till i finish the T/A and the truck.

An M62 probably wouldn't fit in that space, let alone an M90. Besides, even with the setup above, it was ~1" too tall to be able to close the hood of a W-body.

a m90 might be a little big but wat if u put the s/c upside down because they can be put in any direction (refering to pic above) under the steel runners with a box above it with all the runners going to it. so the injectors could stay put but it would be a little tall. i dont know much about boost but puttin in my 2 cents.

Me, many years ago. It still looks the exact same as it in the pics on here.

I have thought about modeling it in CAD (as that's what I do all day long as well), but I think I have decided to just build a mock-up out of wood/foam and see what I come up with. Once I get it mocked up, I will then transfer the pieces to CAD, which can then be sent to a laser/water jet to get cut out and then welded up.

i love those things. takes a while for larger parts to finish, but they come out pretty good.
