3100 Injector mod

I'm looking for bigger injectors for my engine. one day i will put a turbo on it. i was wondering of a part number i would need to put bigger injectors on my car. would i require a pcm that supports it?? i probably would put the bigger injectors on first and later turbo it.

Bigger injectors are worthless without a PCM programmed for them.

I hear that DHP will be able to help out on the Power control module.

I think they were 26# injectors instead of the 19#/22# that come stock on the 3X00.

what exactly is dhp, i've seen that word on the boards but don't know what it means. 26# injectors? what car is that off of, or is it aftermarket.

DHP = Digital Horse Power

They can upgrade your PCM, but as far as I know, they do not make larger injectors.

dhp will not touch your obd 1.5 pcm at this time

and if you are able to get a turbo going, get the 42.5# Lucus 009's from www.zzperformance.com and make sure to get your pcm tuned somehow otherwise just run very low boost, like 5 psi on stock injectors

is it that hard to get a pcm done for a 3100? how will my pcm work with the 3400 top end swap.. also with the P&P job?

Your stock PCM will work fine with a P&P and the top end swap.

how much horsepower might a tuned pcm give me with a ffp pulley, hai, catback, P&P heads intake throttle/3400 swap compared to a non tuned pcm. a few horsepower?
