Pretty sweet! Have any problems? What did you end up using and how much was it?
naa no problems very simple, used ls1 shims and had to grind away so they'd fit,and 91 valve seals worked well. hmm the springs were 70,the shims were 30,seals were i think 15-20. hm so wow i spent a good amount there plus headgaskets.
i got the heads bolted down yesterday i'll try and snap some more pics when the battery is charged

Didn't someone find shims from a different manufacturer that fit without grinding? You should have got those. Since they changed the valve guide diameter in mid-2000 that's the reason the LS1 shims won't slide right on the later heads. IIRC the larger valve guide also causes some issues with the 3.1L valve seals not sealing correctly, like they stretch out too much or something and let too much oil thru? I remember reading about it here anyway. You should have used chrysler 318 valve seals. There's a part number someone supplied in another thread on here about using the LS valve springs.

Gotta love boost!
If it has the larger valve guides you WILL want to change the valve seals as well. I have a 3.1 valve seals on my heads (2000 Grand Am GT) and they leak. Even though they look like they won't. Believe me get the 318 seals and install them before doing anything else. I hate my car when I start it up cause I get a little puff of smoke everytime. That only comes from one place, valve seals.
