Bright safety yellow for your protection. ;p Actually, I ran the trigger wheels through powdercoat with some other parts. The powdercoat provides a nice sealed surface but can be painted over if you prefer a different color. The CPS mount is still billet aluminum.

glad they're in. i just ordered another batch of parts today. since my cam hasn't shipped yet hopefully it can all be shipped together.

i would have really prefered black but i can live with yellow. if not, spray bomb works i guess....

All the past ones were rattle canned... these are first ones to get powdercoated.

well that's a good thing then. i really don't care what color it is since you shouldn't be able to see it from outside the car anyway :P if the yellow bugs me i'll fix it. if not, i'll leave it. no biggie.

I am using a yellow one on the front of my 3900 RWD conversion and think it looks fine... but that's me. I may change my mind after it is completely assembled. If I decide on a different color, it will most likely be red since the poly engine mounts and silicone elbows for the CAI are also red.

What is the application/part number for the sensor I need to use with my external crank trigger?

That's a good question. The shop that is doing the swap for me found one
that fits and it has two wires. Whether it will work, I don't know. I'll take some
pictures tomorrow because I forgot my camera today. I'd hate to get the
engine in and no dice. As is, the project is lagging on and on but that's not a
bad thing since my funds are back and forth lately.

Just use the stock 7x sensor from a 3100/3400.

                              Cool. I bought a blown 3400 so right on. I wasn't sure, but I figured it's
probably in the info somewhere. I just have to look. Or play.

OT: does a stock 3500 cam/valve springs/timing set fit a 3400? If you don't mind. The motor in the car is going to be rebuilt with new rings, cam, springs, and maybe valves if they need it. Thx!
