Lower Intake Manifold Difference

What's the difference in the lim marked with 02-03 compared to the one marked 99,not a van manifold and is a big deal ?

The 00 and 03 are wider on the first turn and flow more overall. The 99 are better than the blank/van lowers but performance wise, I only use 00-03.
