    Lower End

    Hey Ben,

Do you or are you going to get into doing blocks and lower ends?

I'm looking for another 3400 and I'm going for a complete performance build, you will get the complete upper end job. I'd like to do a punch on the block, line hone, blue-print, and end-to-end balancing. Looking to knife the crank, custom rods, pistons, and doing a freeze bath on the crank. How about it?
sigpicHow to make High performance Emissions:
A "true" High flow converter, straight pipe.
Low/No flow EGR valve, block off plate.
Carbon canister and purge valve mod, place in large 30 Gallon can, cover, and place curbside, the city will do the rest.
PCV valve and vent tube, reroute to exhaust to dump where it belongs, on the ground. Or add breathers and let it all free.

Where is Ben going to get all the money to buy the equipment to do that kind of stuff?

I "work" at a machine shop now and am building a motor for a guy right now. I can do all that stuff if you want. I only have ballpark pricing at the moment as we won't know final pricing until its all done. Not sure about a freeze bath for the crank though.

I don't get paid and I don't know how to do everything but I am there every day:P So I am not employed by them but I do some work for them.

What does this mean for you, as well as the 60V6 store?
Health is merely the slowest rate at which one can die.
If guns kill people, then I blame my bad spelling on my pen.

Probably because I run my own business and they know im pretty much devoted to it. I am still there quite a bit and do my own stuff no problem but I haven't actually done anything for them in a month. Won't affect anything really. I have been taking notes from their books and writing down tech details for rebuilding. Im about to scan some pages on head and block casting numbers/notes. The head rebuilding book is from 92 though so its all the older stuff.
