Test fitted, yes. Some guys on grandamgt.com have used them and noticed a drop in temps at the upper intake but right now thats all I know. I just got them completed today so wait and see I guess. Or buy a set and try them yourself:P

If they reduce heat soak as well as wood spacers, I'll buy! Looks nicer too!

BTW, does anyone know if there would be a clearance problem with 1/2" on a 5th gen GA? Not all that much space under the hood.

What is a 5th gen? Your 99? It will clear no problem. Doing the 3500 top end swap is about 1" higher and that clears an 01.

really?, cool deal! I didn't think there was that much space available.

yeah, '99-'05 GA's are 5th gen (hence why some considered the G6 the 6th gen GA)

Hopefully within the next couple of weeks I will be able to get back to making some of the spacers as well as TB's and some of the prototype parts. The past 3 months have been very hectic at the shop. It has been seven long days a week for quite a while now and I am ready for a break. Just came in from the shop about 15 mins ago.
