What is the proper sealant on the gasket between the upper and lower intake manifolds on the LQ1?

That would be it.

The only sealant you should be using anywhere on this motor is where indicated by the rear main bearing cap and on the bottom edges of the front timing chain cover gasket. The service manual indicates where.
