Lots of sludge in intake manifold

Right, you have a 91-95 style. In 96 they changed the intake manifolds and it has that arm. I just don't recall the coolant lines being like that on my 96 though

I have seen some that "cut off" the coolant pipe and NEATLY put a barbed pipe fitting into the lower intake and join the heater hose to an extention. Thats what I remember now about how they eliminated that TB heater.

Was that directed at me?.......if so.......no sir, at least not since 1996 when GM was good enough to replace the original engine that failed.

When the snow melts off my 96 GTP I will pop the hood and show you what mine looks like. I would have remembered all that nonsense on the arm if it was on mine.

Well he is right, its got that piece that goes into the lower and the tube on the other side. After looking at it though now I know why I don't remember it. I disconnected the arm from the plenum and took it off without removing the throttlebody or anything.
