well everyday now its been about the same. on my way to school and on my way home from school. like 5 minutes of driving smoke starts coming out from under the hood. not alot of smoke, and not very thick smoke, just like something burning off of the exhaust manifold or somthing. im at 100,000 miles. anyone know what this could be. it seems to only be coming out of the driver side, not as much the other side, if at all.
smoke under the hood.

Probably the cam cover gaskets leaking oil on to the exhaust manifold. Or maybe the head gasket leaking. More than likely its the cam cover gasket. Just a guess though. If it\'s fun, it\'s probably illegal and if it\'s illegal I\'m probably doing it.

Probably a coolant leak somewhere. It could be an valve cover gasket but I would guess its a coolant leak, probably in the TB area.Ben

If you cant smell it its probably that PIA TB hose. With that many miles and has never been changed id say thats it.2004 Grand Am GT 3400 ... I had the right to remain silent, I just didn't have the ability.(Ron White)

Happened to me, it was that TB coolant hose. If it leaks it dumps coolant right onto the exhaust cross-over pipe. Easily fixed with about 2 inches of 3/4" heater hose.
