Starter question

i just burnt out my starter due to stupidity and cold weather. are the starters on the 3.1 the same as the one on my 3.4DOHC. i have access to a used one off a '90 GP w/ 3.1L. any help would be awsome. also, how hard is it to change the starter on the 3.4?

They are identical. If you want an upgrade, the newer cars have a smaller (lighter) starter that is a gear reduction type. You can get one made for a 3100/3400.

Not Hard

May take some time because of the stupid air conditioning line in the way.
Just take your time and install it properly with the proper shims.
Remember to always remove the battery cables first.

i think you can get a better price than jbodyperformance. Ebay had them lo wmilage for less than 50.
