    O2 time

well im going to be switching out my o2 sensors cause they are due for replacement. i was wondering about wideband o2's. will they work with the pcm? and will they benifit the car?

also i was thinking on just using an o2 sim for the sensor that is after my cat. thay way if i go for a new exhaust system i'll already have it. and the sim is cheeper then a new sensor.

let me know what you all think.

No, your PCM is not setup for a wideband. Only benefit of a WBO2 is if you have the ability to tune your PCM, which I'm pretty sure you don't.

      RE: O2 time

Wide band requires a converter box to send the narrow band signal to the ECM. Not really worth it unless you are able to tune the car, in which case its very much worth it. Sure, its nice to have wide band and see what the AF ratio is but for the money its not worth having unless you can do something about it.

Go ahead and put in the sim o2 after the cat...its just emissions for the cat anyway.
