My timing belt broke. How bad coul the motor be?

my timing belt broke and i was just wondering what the posible damage could be?

was it high in the rpms? if not ur ok. if so, you may have big problems.

Usually you are fine no matter what. Its rare for there to be damage unless the heads have been decked, or the block, or at high RPM when the rods will stretch a little more and you could have piston to valve contact. Odds are you won't have any damage other than timing belt components that are easily replaced.
