    3.4 DOHC Turbo

I just finished up a 5 speed swap on my 1991 Z34 Lumina. I have to say what a huge diffrence that made. Its like a totaly diffrent car. Now I was really taking a close look at the 3.4 DOHC and it looks like it would not be that hard to put a turbo on this motor. There is a place for coolant lines and oil lines. I guess the big question is is that would this motor hold a turbo the way it is stock. And if it could how much boost could you run on it?? Has anyone ever doen this before to a 3.4 DOHC in a Z34 Lumina???

Ooooo Soo clean! Im jealous! Should be a Very clean setup when done. I would recomend doing 42.5# injectors and ODBII when you are ready to run. Also i would recommend ceramic coating or heat wrap and a turbo blanket when its done. Makes ALOT of heat! I found some "Fire Sleave" heat sheild that slips over my fuel lines and protects them from heat. (titan motor sports makes a sweet turbo jacket). Also make sure then they add the wastegate that they add it at the Y where it collects or it could get boost creep.

Could you post all the details of your project (turbo size ect...).

I talked to the guys about the heat shield, and they said if i dont get it, it will melt my hood. The turbo is ceramic coated but I will be adding a turbo jacket. As far as the fuel lines. What did you do? The turbo I am running is a t04e 60 trim with a stage 3 turbine. For now I am going to run the 12.1 vortech fmu and then go back to the turbo shop and get mega squirt put in and tuned. Where can I get those injectors? By the way the shop is CFT. Central Florida Turbo.

they are running the wastegate at the end of the Y. TIMG told me that he gets boost creep because it is only one bank. What is boost creep? Same as turbo lag?
