why did you leave the guts of the stock airbox in there?

it was an exp. to see if i could make a hybrid box, but i lost interest so im just gonna get a cai from ms and go from there. i might see if i can splice a y on it to take air from the front also, or the hood

i had smoothed it out myself with a rotary and put it back in, but then i took the top offcuz i was gonna cut it to go around the intake i have now, and then make an intake on the fenderwell tube down to the foglamp, but decided not to, when i could just get a cai and work from there. ill be lookin at selling the whole airbox-both top and bottom have been smoothed and nothing has been cut on.

shows u how much time i actually have for myself and my car projects. i also just barely got the intake removed from behind the headlight.

i cant stress enough how easy it is to make you own CAI from the honda kits. my kit was $37 shipped (included a filter but it was a paper cone) and i just had to cut the pipe a little bit and voila!

yah i had thought about that, but its just not the same as having a kit that was made for your type vehicle, and i think the honda kit has a smaller ID intake pipe than say MP racing does does, but if i wanted to customize it even more i would get maybe a honda kit and weld a y into the intake pipe to get more flow
