The more I read, the more I want to put the heads from my 94 3.1 on the 2.8.

About 220hp is my guess. Always wanted some boost myself.

I think 220hp in a 1700lb car would be nuts lol, especially with a 5spd and rwd lol

220 in a 2400 lbs car is plenty to get yourself in trouble...

Then again, 400+ HP is even more fun.

True enough, main goal is to rip the old engine out and get the 2.8 mounted up

So what's the plan on the rear axle? Just asking.

220HP from 140HP with only 5psi? A 60% increase is being a little optimistic, is it not?

Yeah I must have been thinking about the 2.2 Ecotec. With an SC a bone stock 2.2 gets 205 to 215hp. Was thinking he could get there with other mods done to support SC. I have no idea what SC he plans to use.

I seem to forget anything after a few days. That is not a good sign, going to have to review everything before I post.

I have a diff from a heavy 1/4 tone, 6 bolt axels, good to 325 ft/lb torque. Very close on width.
