    Holly crap I am back

I have not owned a 60V6 in ages, but I am back. I think my last username is SIL but I could be wrong. I wrote a whole definition file for a grand Prix which I put my 2.8 in.
It's been soooo long that I forget how to do anything lol.

    [Edit] Oh btw I own a 95 Cutlass Ciera with a 3.1

Welcome back As you can see, the forum doesn't get a lot of action but its still here. Does your Ciera have the weird intake/throttlebody/MAF setup? I forget which platform got that but it was around 95.

Oh yeah, thats the oddball for sure, and it still has the plastic valve covers that like to leak.

You will need to be able to modify the tune and use a different MAF and throttle body setup, or tune it with the MAP only. I'm not really sure as I don't do 94-95 computers to know how easily a different MAF tune could be used if necessary.

Do you mean swap out the MAF for a different one?

Swap the upper and throttle body, which will probably require a new MAF. Its built into the throttle body right?

I'd have to check. What upper is desirable?

The MAF is built into the throttle body

Yeah, so that and the throttle body mounting make it a unique deal. The only way to upgrade it is to swap the upper and lower intake for a large port setup. 00+ 3100 and delete the EGR. 96-99 are the same connector and setup as the 00, but the 95 is not so you won't be able to keep that on the stock computer. If you don't have roller rockers, then some clearance will need to be ground into the lower intake to clear the rockers. At that point, I would swap the whole 00+ top end. I ignore the 96-99 3400 for this as its a lower performing/flowing setup than 2000 and newer. How far are you trying to go with this as far as power and modifications go?

First I'd have to score the 2000+ setup at the junkyard. I kind of want reliability so nothing too crazy, like my last setup. Probably just a cam to give it a nice bumpy idle.
