          little late but i seen a 3.4 dohc fiero notchie/getrag282 on the scales and it only weighed 2,700 and some change. although i am sure the spare tire and jack were out of it. overall that is pretty light for a gm .

          but i was also under the impression that the lq1's were heavier than the iron 2.8's. other than the engine swap, only thing that wasn't stock were the larger wheels. i do not know whether or not they were lighter than the originals.

          i cannot wait until some1 weighs an all aluminm 3.6 dohc v6 in one when they become more accessable(cheaper).
