New Digs

I bought a house at a Sheriffs' sale. (Stole it actually.) Built in 1921. 2 story, full basement, 2 car garage. Needs work, but that's OK. I already replaced all of the plumbing, including drainlines. Rewired all of the downstairs, working on upstairs. New service box, etc... All of the original wood trim is intact. Beautiful! All windows have original glass. Has a sitting room with a fireplace. And the house has been fully insulated, central air and heat...

Oh, cable was on already, so I guess it's free?

We are living in 1/2, while rennovating the other, then switch.

Nice find. Looks like some elbow grease, scrapper, and paint it will look good . Just watchout for lead paint!
