Damn I need to get one of those for my Fiero. Damn. Damn Damn. Do they make ones without holes in the case? I would think the fluid would leak out too easy.

Its actually for the G6, which is replacing the Grand Am, not the GTP.

I have heard rumblings of the new GXP (or whatever it is called) with the 5.3 V8 will have an optional 6-spd. This would be sweet if it ends up happening.

i just hope its strong. most of the recent gm stuff hasnt impressed me much. when i bought the trans am the guys in the service area told me they had one in 4 times for the 6spd transmission. the guy raced it all the time they said, but still...

the T56 is a great trans, the guy probably didn't know how to drag a manual.

my next project is build my new shop then i can continue playing. then who knows. something along the lines of a 500hp 1400# fiberglass t-bucket.

So what... Let me know when it is RWD and worth buying. I cannot believe they make that thing FWD still, when Dodge has a whole fleet of RWD V8 sedans selling like crazy

For your Fiero Ben, there is always the new 5-spd auto found in the Equinox. But I have heard that it uses its own control module...
