      As far as the math goes, try the CR Calc here on the site, located on the Site Navigation sidebar menu, at the very bottom.

        that is how it was calculated

        11.74:1 with the stock sized pistons and 11:92 with .030 over, sorry I was going from memory in the origional statement.

        Still how do you think that would react with boost?

          btw how much would .030 over be on this smaller engine its different then it is on the 350 or the caddy 500 and i don't know the math to that either.
          You know that sun viser that doesn\'t quite go down when the sun is there and then when you are driving with it down and you can\'t see the stoplights ? Well... that\'s why my fiero isn\'t at the shop yet....

            Do you mean how many liters it would displace, how much more compression, or how much more power?

                Well, if the stock piston is 3.504 and you add .030" would be 3.534. Miltiply this by the stroke (3.307") and get the CI total...

                Stock = 191.237196 cubes
                .030" over = 194.530719 cubes

                Calulate this by multiplying 3.14 by radius squared (1/2 of diameter/bore) by stroke.

                Converting to liters is a whole nother story, lol .
