    Question : 2.8L + eaton M90

could I get a M90 blower block the rear opening off and cut a hole on the top for a carb or is this just a really dumb, stupid idea.

It won't work that way. The best bet for an S/C is to do a remote mount.

It's been done. You can't just plug the intake, the rotor entry must be completely masked off (surgery). A top (radial) mount isn't as efficient as side (axial), so hp draw per lb. of boost goes up, charge temperature goes up.
Easier to make a 90° adapter to mount the carb to the TB entry.

Magnuson actually sold some with a 4 bbl. base in the top, not sure how they closed off the intake.
