another question: does anyone know is a CS shifter is any differnt than the GP besides the shifter knob? I might have a lead on one already.

How much do they want? The cutlass shifter fits a grand prix because that is what I have. Mine has the shifter cut off and a threaded rod for the mustang shifter was welded in place. It felt good in my grand prix for the height. I don't know the value though.

Awsome, Thanks Ben, he just sent me pics and hte only difference is the knob. I actually like it better than the GP knob... Price... 25 bucks! Man id be screwed without these forums!!! try finding one of those shifters PERIOD locally....

yeah jump on it. You can modify it for whatever height you want and weld any rod on it for a shifter. Or maybe the stock height will work, who knows.
