I have known of that for a very long time, GM and Lotus of europe developed the 3.4L DOHC and was the basis of some other engines designed in europe by lotus in there ventures.

In it's time, the 3.4L DOHC was a very advanced V6 here North America....

You are right Ben about it sucking fuel! That engine is made to eat fuel, It breaths heavy....

Its too bad that more aftermarket companies would have had interest in the engine when it came out cause it has big potential for someone with a pile of money...
