What is the total weight of each rod. I see weight for the package shipped, And the +-4 grams weight variance, But what is the total weight of each rod exactly.

Who the fuck is CAT rods anyways? If they are Knockoff's of SCAT's. I know scat is a pretty good company, however they're made oversea's and are still more expensive than these.. Just almost seems toooo good to be true.
That pic looks alot like the exact same picture used on ebay all the time of cheap Hbeams.

just want some more info, before I jump in on this. Still interested. Just want some more info.

Find out how much the general weight the rods are.

I've read through the whole thread.

Let me know when you find out the general average weight. Like are these 700 gram heavyweights? 600something gram decent weight rods. or 500something gram lightweights?

i've heard nothing but horrible carnage stories about CAT internal engine parts(broken rods, exploded roller lifters, out of balance cranks), and they come from the land of china.

yes those are the ones. And eventually yours would be lighter due to narrowing the big end.

So your getting a $425 dollar set of rods for $150 bucks. Are you in?

show me where it says they're made here. their site says they hold USA patents, nothing about where it's made.

either way, based on those people who i know to be very knowledgeable telling me how they've mutilated CAT products, i steer clear.

I havent seen anything saying they are great? I read your thread on wehatefiero.nl.com, and all I got was a bunch of people eyeballing their rods and claiming they look good. That doesn't cut it for me. Do you know anyone actually running them, or testing them in any way, or perhaps even weighing them?
