i want to do a head swap with 3400 heads on my 96 3100, so i need everything necessary-anybody?

I have a set of heads and a LIM that is coming off of my 2001 Grand Am tonight. (it is half way torn down as we speak) I do not have a 3400 upper however I do have a spare 3500 upper if you would be interested.

would the 3500 upper intake manifold fit the 3400 lower? if so, how much do you want for all of that?

It fits but requires a little bit of work. The TB neck has to be ground to clear the fuel pressure regulator and you will have to figure up the vacuum lines. Ill have adapters for the throttlebody next week or the week after unless something else comes up. Check the pushrod perf section as this has been covered.

would i have to do anything to my electronics to make all of that stuff work, or would it work with the stock stuff & just not gain as much as it -could-? also would the exhaust manifolds work with my car without a bunch of modification?

You can use your old exhaust manifolds. 3100 computer will run a 3400 top end swap but you wont get the full potential without a tune. Thats pretty much how it works for any mods though so id still go for it.

3400 manifolds are an improvment over 3100's correct? Are u intrested in the heads and the intakes?

Some years yes, but mostly they are the same manifolds and I am not sure if the downpipe location is the same between years and platforms.
