ECM swap

Sorry for another dumb question but are are the ECMs for a 87 fiero v6 and a 87 firebird v6 the same just different proms?

The fiero uses 1227170 and it looks like the 97 2.8 camaro used the 1227302.

It's a 87 camaro 2.8 not a 97, I hope that was just a typo. If not thank you for steering me the right direction. zipperhead

Yeah, I meant 87, not 97:P 97 is OBD2 so I dont even know what it is classified as.
