obd2 when? harness question

when did the n-bodies go obd2?

i need to buy a harness to swap 3100 and 4t60-e (2001 engine and 1995 trans into my 1995 grand am(stupid quad 4/4t60-e). which years harness and computer can i use, and does anyone know which gear ratio the trans has now? new one has a 3.43(from a dohc w-body) and could anyone(ie- ben) burn me a chip to correct the speedo only?

if you want to use a memcal ECM, then I could program something. Otherwise, no one makes anything for a 95 grand am ECM. OBD2 started in 96 officially. I think that trans will have an issue with a newer ECM, even if its a 4T60-E computer. Not sure though, brad knows...and we should probably add all this trans stuff to the site so we dont have to keep asking him

i second that. i guess i shall probably look for a 94 to pirate the harness and ecm out of then. hope i can find one locally, shouldnt be that hard i guess.
