With boost, you will probably want a MAF setup. What car are the gauges coming out of? Either 94-95 3.4 DOHC or an OBD2 setup most likely would be the best with a turbo in mind.

Ok, then it wont matter what computer you use for the gauges.

97+ has more support. 99+ grand am has pretty good support, as does the 98+ GTP. What year is your car?

Your car is OBD2 already so there is a possibility that a company already or can make a tuner for your stock computer.

I guess the VIN would definetly screw you up for reprogramming, but im not sure if the OBD2 computers all carry the same hardware inside for more cylinders or not. EIther way, your current wiring is probably close other than needing 2 more injector wires. Shouldn't be too difficult to throw a different OBD2 ECM in there.

I dont totally know how the whole computer thing works. But what would happen if you put the V6 program on the 2.2 ECU? Or... would it even work at all? DHP could reprogram everything for ya. If you used a computer for a GTP you're looking at like... 100 bucks from Intense Racing. You should probably have the auto tranny controls wiped out of whatever computer you end up using, so i'd look into reprogramming as a definate thing either way.

My car is a 97 and I run a 91 MPFI ECU. Gauges dont work, but i'm gonna stock up on those over the winter time.
