Can't seem to get a straight answer on this....

Does anyone know what size tap I need for the lower intake manifold for the coolant return line for a 97 3.1 to a 00+ 3400 swap ? I've heard half inch and I've heard 7/8 npt Does anyone have a concrete answer ? Thank you

If I can't get a solid answer I'll probably cut the tubes and connect them with clamps and rubber hose....just don't want it to look like a rigged swap

Ben would know the size. I can tell you that it doesn't look good and that the hose may flex and then you get a leak. Been fighting with mine and I regret not tapping the lower.

1/2" NPT. Was going to take a pic of mine, but the numbers don't show up very well.
