    Where's the best place to buy the most inexpensive hi-flow, direct bolt-on cats for a Z-34 Lumina?

      Direct bolt on high flow cats? That's going to be quite hard to find. Magnaflow/CarSound make some good high flow cats. A test pipe will make more power, but is not emissions legal.

        Well, actually, the car just got inspected, and just barely passed emissions. Plus, the engine temp goes up the faster you go; highway speed. The stock cat is clogged. I was thinking of a hi-flow cat, but I also thought about getting rid of the cat altogether by putting a straight pipe there for now.

          catco are cheap and flow pretty well. You'll likely have to weld or cut off and clamp it on.
