I did. It's now 1 qt low...OD kicks in and out so another quart should fix that.

I'm so excited. Thanks to everyone for all your help. It shifts better than it ever has.

one quart low won't cause OD to go in and out. that would cause slipping, but being down a quart won't do that. glad to hear it's that good! congrats man!!!

it just must have taken time for the torque converter to pump up. works great now.

Andy, you should swing down to lincoln for americruise this weekend. it'll rock

doesn't take anytime to pump up the converter, just the accumulators. they fill up during the up/downshifts.

haven't heard anything about this americruize. what, where and when? there is a very slight chance i could go.

Hmm, hope it was just trapped air. Good thing it's working now!

On those "headers" you should have made the 4 & 6 runners go into the log at a 45* angle instead of 90*. (like the #2 one does) Wouldn't have made it any further out. But still has to flow better than the stock log. You using the rear ported stock one?

The angles for 4 and 6 are at a 45*. it's just hard to see it. yes, i'm using the ported stock one.

not sure....I may take it too a track in a few weeks.

It feels very strong up top for a 3100....watch the tach in first above 4k.

it'll spin'm loose on wet pavement in first once it hits 4k....kinda weird.

I also have a baseline dyno, and want to get one soon of my current setup to see what I've gained

nice work! engine sounds sweet over 5000 rpm. congrats! tranny work is very involved stuff...especially for guys like us that do it once in a while.

my tranny downshifts super quick. it takes a split second before it begins, then it's suddenly in gear and accelerating. it's like a skip-shift for me. though, i can add or subtract shift timing to either speed that up or slow it down. i've had it downshift faster but it kinda bangs like a stick shift if someone were to side-step the clutch. as far as WOT shifts, it chrips during the 1-2, and give a good jerk on the 2-3.
