    Question : 3.1 to 3.4 transmission swap in 1995 gtp

    If anyone out there knows if a 3.1 4t60e will fit into a 3.4dohc 1995 gtp any help would be appreciated. I have heard that it will fit from some people and that it wont from others. Help!!!!!

      It will but you'll have a wiring issue with the torque converter clutch and the gearing will be a hair tall.

          What about the bellhousing?

          Thanks for your reply, but what about the bellhousing? Thats where our problem is. We dont know if it will be the same.
