I'm new to this forum...I have a 1994 Pontiac Gran Prix...The trans blew up....and I need to know what other transmissions I can use...If anyone knows what years are compatible and what makes are compatible....Please let me know. Thanks in advance!!!

94 was a strange year (well, 93-95 actually) where there are actually 4 or so different models of the 4T60E. So your best bet would be to try to find one from a Grand Prix again to make sure the internals are the same.-Brad-

94/95 4t60e from a Grand Prix w/ a 3100 engine or possibly other Wbodies of the same years. A 96 grand prix 3100 trans would work, just keep your park/neutral safety switch from the 94 trans.Comment
