Why change injector size???? He is running the pressure specs of the trailblazer injectors now, and can tune it.. If the injectors are not starving the motor and not maxxing out on duty cycle... what is your point?
-
ok, back to you jon, a set of 44# injectors will get you into the low 13's...

lets countdown until your excuse... whats it going to be? heart problems, anal problems, whats it going to be? ohhh I got it, there is too much that is going on with your "mystery dodge" lol... come on be serious, you are such a poser, grow up, you 54 year old child...Originally posted by asylummotorsports View PostI'll just wait for your excuse for not being able to back it up with anyone looking and whatever excuse you can come up with .
I just may book a room in Charlotte for this nonsence. I'm already registered and PAID!
I can fly to Savannah and bring the GTZ.
Shall we start a countdown 'til the excuse hits?

Be serious, my eyes to yours, I'm not running 89, i only run 110LL, that's why she IS not a DD, if you cant change the timing and pulse, I understand. With your lift and duration, you need an injector set that is more controllable, especially since you cant change your cam timing. I know with your knowledge and mine, you might think "this guy don't know shat"... take me seriously, nitro is not the answer, unless your trying to take a second off your e.t. Are you afraid to change anything? I'm telling you, since you don't want to buy a degreeable cam sprocket, your next step is 44# injectors...Originally posted by 3400-95-Modified View PostWOW big spender 89 octane mix... Why you may ask? Because my compression is 9.15:1. I run the nitrous I'll be running 94 octane. You don't know tuning but your trying to tell me to change the pulse and timing. sorry there bub... 13.3 @ 105mph?
15.69@89... That sounds more like your car. 13.2's at 1000' maybe but not 1/4 mile.

Correct, I was able to duplicate many 14.0-14.1's with that setup at the track... I think if I had the smaller DR's to run with I would have been able to pull a few more 13's since traction was my issue, but as of late, thats all out the window... 17lb rotor upgrade FTL... I bet I roll a 14.2 or 14.3 n/a now.Originally posted by bszopi View PostJon, for instance, has ran a 13.996 NA. He goes around saying his car will run a 13.9. Let me introduce myself then... I'm the site owner. Been around for a few years...
Although I don't drag consistently, I have been out to the track many times. And if consistency is your explanation, then perhaps you should have mentioned that in your original post. Something like "the only 92 GT Auto that WILL do a a 13.5 consistantly, with a personal best of 13.3". Jon, for instance, has ran a 13.996 NA. He goes around saying his car will run a 13.9. But I'm betting its closer to a consistant 14.1 or so...

Yes that was on a 87 and WOW big spender 89 octane mix... Why you may ask? Because my compression is 9.15:1... no need for high octane race fuels, when I run the nitrous I'll be running 94 octane. You dont know tuning but your trying to tell me to change the pulse and timing... I'm not going to gain anything by putting a larger injector in my car other than it being used less...
You can water a plant in a pot with a garden hose just fine, put a fire hose in its place and you need to choke it down otherwise its a useless upgrade, so seriously WTF?
I was about to give you a chance to redeem yourself from the BS that happened on bstuff, but this BS you are spouting off is killing that greatly.
And sorry there bub... 13.3 @ 105mph?
I don't think so.

13.5 is a constant, you probably don't drag. 13.3 is the best time, the best day, the best fuel, the best of the best sir, with a salute, I dont know you so I wont call you ignorant, but that's the best slip I have ever gotten with her.Originally posted by bszopi View PostOk, I'll be the dick... Jon i'm not talking about duty cycle, which shouldn't affect you until 5800-6200 rpm, which should be around 1250-1300ft, in final drive, if you were to run 44's you will have to change the pulse and timing, i'm sure you will gain the extra 10-20lbs of torque it get into the low 13's. If I were you I would get a satallite o2 sensor system to see what amount of fuel you are actually wasting, what are you running for fuel on race day? please tell me its not 87...Originally posted by 3400-95-Modified View PostWhat are 44# injectors going to do for a motor that I can EASILY make run at 10:1 a/f at 6700 rpm? Sorry but I think your lacking in some much needed info on how a fueling system will affect our cars.
I run at 80% duty cycle now on my injectors and that's at 11:1 a/f on the rich side, 44# injectors will only lower my duty cycle, NOT increase my HP output. Maybe if it was 100% duty cycle and only getting 13:1 a/f at WOT then there would be some gains to be had... but sorry that's some bad advice.
