LX9 3500 Stainless headers on ebay $380 shipped

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=190332815621

They are shorties though, and might not fit under older cars with swaps, but you have enough pipe there to re-route the cross over up top and of course you'd have to re-angle the rear in an older car, but this is cheaper than modifying SS headers, and it's stainless to boot!

Of course you'll need stainless welding rod. 2 flex joints too.

OBX is not quality and 1.5" primaries are not very good. The only thing nice about those are the price. I bet its chinese stainless, which is about as stainless as mild steel.

1.5" primaries are terrible for this engine, that's smaller than the stock manifolds.

the design isn't too bad, but it would be a pain to make those work on anything else.

My uncle has a OBX header on a 2.2 s-10 and its surprisingly has held up pretty good. He only gave $150 for it and I had my doubts at first about the SS but it hasn't rusted in 2 years and a magnet wouldn't stick to it.
