Has anyone ever dropped an oil pan on a W-body with a 3.1? Can i lift the motor from the top with an engine lift and unbolt the lower motor mount and horseshoe? Remove starter, ICM and oil filter adapter and it should come out right? No fun but i have to do it somehow, any tips are welcome! Thanks !

Its on a 90 turbo grand prix. Once that lower motor mount comes apart, i dont see why it shouldnt come down, I was wondering what experience you guys have had. What bolts? the oil pan bolts obviously?

Leaks oil pretty bad in the back corner, leaking all over the trans. Are you supposed to use silicone on the oil pan gasket? I had the motor out but apparently i did something wrong, whats new.
