Where did you see 124? Its supposed to be 89. So long as the pushrods are where they belong and the rocker arm isn't loose, your problem shouldn't be with either.Ben

i saw 124 in alldata...i was thinking that the rocker bolts were to tight allowing the intake or exhaust valves to not completely close...i did not have any misfires before i did the job...i also have spark at all the plugs and correct fuel pressure

Anything is possible but I have my doubts that you could tighten them down and cause your problem. They aren't adjustable so unless you crushed the pedastals into the aluminum head, I doubt its keeping the valve open.Ben

Agreed. I would double check your pushrod orientation.Originally posted by SappySE107 View PostAnything is possible but I have my doubts that you could tighten them down and cause your problem. Maybe a stupid question but are you sure you put the coil packs back correctly, and the wires in the right spots? I get my ass confused everytime and have to remember which cylinder is which. It really gets messy when 1 of your coilpacks has no numbers on it.SpudFiles

i never took the coil packs off the ign module and olny disconnected #2,4,6 cylinders from the front...i took off the fuel rail again and put it back on to make sure the injectors were seated properly...ive been looking under the hood for hours trying to see if i left something unplugged..cant find anything got all 3 harness hooked up to the ign module...i did NOT have this problem before i did the intake gaskets so it has to be something i did...
