Had a valve job done on the heads of a 1990 3.1L Vin T engine back in 2007 and never used them. The heads were stored in my unheated garage and developed some rust. Are they still useable?
I would think you'd want to take the valves out to make sure the stems don't have rust on them, you can use electrolysis to remove the rust on the parts. I wouldn't just slap them on as is.
